US Army Lowers Recruiting Standard

If the US Army is lowering it's recruiting standards, what does that mean for Corporate America?  So the Army has standards.  Good sign.  That they need to beef up "employment" by hiring more people is a bad sign for me as it means more War.  Nonetheless, the Army has standards.

As the War for Talent heats up, will Corporate America be forced to reduce it's standards?  Whether formalized or not, most businesses have certain standards employees need to meet.  Baby Boomers retiring now.  Gen X and Y with their own standards to be met.  Defining standards is a good start.

Businesses have to compete for talent.  Businesses need to be smart about setting standards and hiring to them.  Businesses need to be disciplined in recruiting, hiring, and training.  There is a War for Talent.  And it's going to get really fierce in the years ahead.

That the Army is lowering it's standards should be a big wake up call for business.

As always, warm regards.
