Time to Think

Some time ago I read an article about some guru engineer designer types.  The point of the article was that these design gurus did some of their best work surfing.  What that really means is they were doing some of their best thinking while surfing.

Doing what they loved, surfing, allowed these highly successful, world famous designers, to detach from the things that keep our minds from doing our best thinking.  The clutter goes away.  Free to think.

This is why I love to ride.  Time to think.  No phone.  No email.  Scottsdale to Vegas.  Vegas to Bishop, CA.  (Death Valley was awesome.)  Bishop to Sacramento via Higway 120 through Yosemite.  (Tioga Pass to die for!)

Time to think about business coaching.  Time to think about my newest client and how to help best develop his sales organization.  Time to think about the guy whole published my book title before I did.  (He got most of the title anyway.  So time to think of a new title.  "Wakeup Call: The 10 Biggest Mistakes Business Owners Make and How to Avoid Them.")

My point today.  Take more time to do what you love.  Take more time to think.

As always, best regards.
