Kim Silvers
Kim Silvers brings more than twenty years of human resource management experience from the private and public sectors.
She has held progressively responsible positions in human resource management in the retail, distribution, software and production industries. Much of this experience has focused on facilitating change and coaching leaders through the evolution of these organizations.
Kim’s experience includes working with large organizations and small entrepreneurial firms including the Department of Defense, Payless Cashways, DST Systems, Kamps Propane, TASQ Technology, and Excelchem Labs. In these assignments she has coached developing leaders and teams. Her focus as President of Silvers HR Management is on achieving a measurable “ROI” on management’s investment in development.
In her “prior life” as a human resource executive at USCS International Inc., Kim worked with line management to facilitate the restructuring and growth of a booming high tech company with several subsidiaries. She directed the management development, staffing, compensation and employee relations functions. This rapid growth also allowed her to lead the human resource issues in the merger and acquisition process from due diligence to integration in the U.S. and abroad. USCS International was listed on Forbes’ list of The 200 Best Small Companies in America and later named as Sacramento’s Most Admired Company.
Kim's experience also includes employee relations management and policy development in union and non-union facilities. She has served as management's representative in collective bargaining and grievance resolution.
In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, an MBA in Human Resource Management, and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources
(SPHR). Kim is an award winning public speaker and also an instructor in the Business Management B.A. program at St Mary’s College in Sacramento.
