Think back to the last time you had educate yourself about a significant purchase. Maybe it was a home theatre system or an insurance policy. You did your homework. Asked the questions.
Remember how comfortable you felt when you finally hit the "buy" button? You had the knowledge you needed to make a sound buying decision.
We can help people feel the same way about our services and products by offering them a free email mini-course.
Here's how you do it:
Say you're a business coach. You could create and offer a course called "5 Profit Roadblocks And How You Can Get Around Them".
You sit down, list the 5 roadblocks and write a few paragraphs of copy about each one.
Then, you create an email message for each roadblock and set them up on your auto responder so that your reader will get them over a period of a week to 10 days.
You can add a final message that sums up the course and includes a friendly invitation encouraging the reader to call you for a consultation, buy one of your e- books or sign up for one of your teleclasses.
The great thing is once you have the content created, you have an automated, easy-to-administer, online marketing system for gathering and tracking leads.
You can offer the course on your homepage.
Anyone who signs up for it is basically telling you they have a need for the type of information and service you offer.
Be sure to provide valuable information. That way, you will be able to repeat the process with new content later on and the reader will be eager to sign up for more.
Whatever your business, there are things that your clients ask you about over and over. You can build your course around these frequently asked questions.
By helping people understand more about HOW we can help them, we have a much better chance of convincing them that we would be a good choice to help them solve their problem or get what they want.
It's all about making sure your prospect can clearly see the value in what you have to offer. The mini-email course is a way to achieve that marketing objective.
